2. Douglas Macarthur was born, January 26,1880 in Little Rock, Arkansas. His mother was Mary Pinkney Hardy. They called her Pinky. His fathers name was Thomas Hardy. He was a wealthy cotton merchant. They got married at her fathers mansion called Riveridge, on May 19, 1975.

He was a quarterback for football, and a shortstop for baseball. He was also the tennis champion of his campus.
