Consult Your Manual DVD-R(W)DVD+R(W) Must format Must finalize No formatting No finalizing Must have discs for video & data One disc for data & video Limited Video or VR editing Panasonic, Apple, Samsung On-disc editing Phillips, Sony, HP

Now What? Initialize the disc Change to the speed required Choose timed recording or one-touch- record (OTR) Make sure your machine is not in “finalize” mode or you won’t be able to edit

Careful! The longer the speed, the less the quality of resolution and clarity

One Touch Recording or Program a Timer Make sure your clock time is correct Did you check the AM/PM?

Watch Out… Where will you play the disc? TV Computer DVD player Depends on the machine!!
