Art 222 :: Digital Multimedia :: Week 9 :: A In-class Presentation :: mid-term assignment  Stock Footage Short Film with DVD interface  Purpose/Objective:  To work with found elements to construct an original piece of art.  To go through the full creative design process for cinematic time-based projects.  To consider interface design issues for different media.  To integrate the images, motion graphic design, digital video, sound editing, and multimedia authoring software in the creation of a unified multimedia work of art.  To effectively defend course work conceptually.  Assignment: Use the stock video library footage (OPTIONAL: or use your own footage*) to create a short film with a DVD interface. Conceptually there are no guidelines. The final product can be experimental in nature or thematically abstract (ie. video art, Norman McLaren, etc). or it can be a more traditional narrative (ie. documentary, drama, comedy, etc.)  Format: There are two major parts to the assignment: 1.DVD with custom DVD Interface Menu 2.Four downloading web versions of the film to be handed in on a data CD.  Quicktime (.mov)  Windows Media Player (.wmv)  Real Player (.rm)  Flash (.swf) due :: 03.13.06
