Patricia was born on August 9, 1944 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Robert and Erna Carwell. Fredrick was born in 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee.

4 Setting The story took place at West Virginia, Memphis, and a porter house.

The point of view is in 3rd person It is Nonfiction, because it has history and legend in the story.

8 Characters Casey Jones- railroad engineer that got into a crash and managed to save everybody’s life but his own. John Henry- railroad worker that beat a steam engine at driving stakes into the ground and had a heart attack. Daddy Joe- an imaginary idol that could walk on the train barefoot while it was moving.
