Esfahan It has the most numbers monuments in Iran. One of them is ali-ghapoo: Ālī Qāpū (Turkish for Sublime Gate; Persian: عالی قاپو ) is a grand palace in Isfahan, Iran. It is located on the western side of the Naghsh-i Jahan Square opposite to Sheikh lotf allah mosque, and had been originally designed as a vast portal. It is forty-eight meters high and there are seven floors, each accessible by a difficult spiral staircase. In the sixth floor music room, deep circular niches are found in the walls, having not only aesthetic value, but also acoustic. The name Ālī Qāpū, Turkish for "high gate", was given to this place as it was right at the entrance to the Safavid palaces which stretched from the Maidan Naqsh-i-Jahan to the Chahār Bāgh Boulevard. The building, another wonderful Safavid edifice, was built by decree of Shah Abbas the Great in the early seventeenth century. Shiraz Persepolis - its ancient name was Parsa to ancient Persians, its modern name is Takht-e Jamshid, (Persian: Throne of Jamshid), to Iranians it was the capital of the Achaemenid kings of Iran (Persia). Persepolis is located about 50 kms northeast of Shiraz in the province of Fars in southwestern Iran. It was set on fire by Alexander upon his defeat of Darius III. The Achaeminid Empire was large and important : it covered Iran, Irak, Turkey, Armenia, Macedonia (FYROM), a part of Syria,Israël and Egypt. In the North : Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan... 24 different nationalities. Qavam House (also widely called "Narenjestan e Ghavam") is a traditional and historical house in Shiraz, Iran. It was built in the mid to late 1800s by Mirza Ibrahim Khan. The Qavam family were merchants originally from Qazvin. But they soon became active in the government during the Zand dynasty, followed by the Qajar and Pahlavi dynasty as well. tabriz Municipal House of Tabriz is the first and the oldest municipal in Iran, which has been built in 1939 by German engineers. If you look above, it looks like a flying eagle. The area is 9600 m2, and the cost was something around $255 at the time. Tabriz, Blue Mosque : The Blue Mosque (Persian: مسجد کبود Masjed-e Kabud, Azerbaijani: گؤی مسجید )is a famous historic mosque in Tabriz, Iran. The mosque and some other public buildings were constructed in 1465 upon the order of Jahan Shah, the ruler of Kara Koyunlu. The mosque was severely damaged in an earthquake in 1779, leaving only the entrance iwan. Mashhad Ferdosi(poet)’s tomb This is the Shrine of Imam REZA... the shi^it's 8th IMAM... the building is the largest shrine and one the most beautiful Gothic Style Plaza in the world... every year more than 6 million people comes here to pilgrimage from outside of iran and local iranians. the dome of this shrine is Full GOLD Blocks... this building build in 8th Century! about 1224 years ago... it wasn't this big in that time but in each era of Persian History, Some parts Added to the main core... and the core is the oldest part of the shrine... whenever you are getting far from the core... the era will change... and it's like you are in a history book are a time machine. some of the most important history events happend here... people make the special lighting and decorations for the new year's holidays 9/15/2015noushin eshratkhah
