2 History Eratosthenes discovered my planet. They discovered my planet in 276 bc. Eratosthenes a Greek scholar who was the person to determine the circumference of earth also he discovered earth. The roman goddess Terra is the goddess of land. A circle with a plus sign in the middle is the earths symbol.

3 Solar System Its the third planet from the sun. The earth is 1 au from the sun. It takes the earth 365.26 days to go Around the sun. One rotation on a earth day is 23.93 hours Long. This is a picture of all eight planets in order and color.

12 Bibliography Include the bibliographies for the 2 or more books and the 2 or more internet sights you used to collect your information. ***remember NO plagiarism!!!! If youre not sure, site your information, better to be safe then sorry!!! If you are caught you will be given an office referral.

Did you complete everything asked with a high level of effort? –250 for great images with excellent captions. If they are fuzz or hard to read point will be taken off. –100 for Bibliography and sighting your pictures, books(2) and internet sights (2) used. –50 for style and neatness. 16 Saving Your Work Save the PowerPoint (ppt) in your periods folder that is located in your home directory. Save your PPT file and any images in that folder only. Any images or files left on the desktop WILL BE DELETED! If you want to work on this at home, you will need a flash drive. Delete slides 11-14 before turning in.

17 Turning in Your Presentation When finished, alert Ms. Hunter. She will copy your presentation to a flash drive for grading. If you have your own flash drive or a recordable CD, you can take home your presentation files. WARNING – No points are awarded if your presentation gets accidentally deleted, does not save, gets lost, is at home, etc. YOU are responsible for your files. Delete THIS slide before turning in.
