Drone Definition A Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV or Drone) An aircraft with no pilot on board Drones can be remote controlled Drones can fly autonomously based on pre- programmed flight plans or more complex dynamic automation systems

MAV Definition A micro air vehicle, or micro aerial vehicle (MAV) A class of UAV or Drone Size is small enough to be transported and used by a single-person

Types of MAVs Fixed-wing (airplane-like) Rotary-wing (helicopter-like) Ornithopter (bird-like flapping), and Entomopters (insect-like flapping)
