Where we stand today, June 1st: Initial draft of route & schedule service times completed Site visits to each library by STAT Courier (now) Refine routes & schedule services times – currently, 13 routes & 2 line hauls - (now) STAT will cover Missouri & our connection to TAE in Springdale, Arkansas Henry Industries is still covering the KC to Goodland, KS route Refine label format & barcodes (now) Finalize routes & confirm pickup times (mid June) Distribute totes to libraries (late June)

Datatrac system Libraries will receive logins & accounts We will move calendars, hours of operations, contact information – nearly everything Scott keeps track of manually, we’ll move into Datatrac Libraries will be able to access, manage, and check on/track materials The label maker will not go away!

22. Datatrac, huh? So, what will it do? Web-based, it will provide real-time tracking Information captured via a barcode scan Each driver will carry a smartphone equipped with the Datatrac app Barcodes are scanned & geocoded timestamped Barcodes are scanned again upon delivery

23. Datatrac. Really? (We are working on enhancing our label maker with a uniquely generated 2D barcode) Signatures will be obtained via the smartphone Can login and monitor progress in real time on the map More reports, more accountability

What will happen logistically as we approach July 1 st ? 1 st Choice will stop picking up Friday, June 26 th 1 st Choice will deliver what they have by Tuesday, June 30 th STAT Courier will begin service Wednesday, July 1 st Note – it will take a few days to clear the backlog State Library will help subsidize MALA connection for the next 3 years!
