Objectives 1.To foster the mission and objectives of LfSS in the context of Higher Education, and in particular in the academic community 2.To seek ways in which interested HE practitioners from different institutions and subject areas can work together, in researching matters relevant to sustainability generally and ESD in particular 3.To collaborate in order to jointly apply for funding in support of Objectives 1 and 2 above LfSS HE Task Group / EAUC HE Topic Support Network

5. Update: June 2014 Learning for Sustainability Scotland (LfSS) 1.Four conferences on end of UNDESD in Japan in November 2014:  9th Global RCE Conference  ESD and Youth Conference  UN End of Decade Conference (invite only to UN recognised governments)  Reorientating Teacher Education for ESD International Conference. 2.LfSS encouraging the Scottish Government to become a lead nation in the forthcoming Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD 3.Scottish Government / LfSS end of Decade conference in Edinburgh in the last week of October 2014, date TBC
