Point of View- Who tells the story and how it is told. Examples: Grendel Don Mclean

Hyperbole- Exaggeration/Figure of speech. Example: “I tried 1,000 times.”

Figurative description; language that allows the reader to paint a picture in their mind.

Kings: were chosen by land owned and battles won. King Alfred had a vision for his nation; started schools.
