2. 2 Regional Housing Needs Allocation will occur in parallel to the Sustainable Communities Strategy and Regional Transportation Plan SB375 calls for further coordination between the RHNA-SCS-RTP with a 2010-13 timeframe

3. 3 The State Department of Housing and Community Development is Required to Identify the Housing Need for Each Region in the State The Council of Governments works with jurisdictions to allocate a share of the regional need to each city and county. Local Jurisdictions Update their Housing Elements

4. 4 It is an effort of state and local government The overall objective is to meet the state’s housing goal: Housing for all Californians including farmworkers This will be the 5 th Regional Housing Needs Determination.
