Needs to happen 30 days prior to meeting...hmm that is today. I will contact Vic Hayes and run the idea by him. Objective is to get by-in and to accelerate the Ad-hoc group to get the PAN PAR finalized prior to the DROPDEAD DATE of FEBRUARY 6, 1998.

Wearable Interfaces Vision Statement The initiating purpose for this working group is to establish standards that will encourage development of wearable computing devices and technologies. Wearable standards will provide assurance of interoperability at multiple levels. (see Wearable Interfaces Vision Statement Revision 1)

What is a PAR? A PAR is a project authorization request, the means by which standards projects are started in the IEEE. PARs define the scope, purpose, and contact points for the new project. (see "Wearables" Standards Ad Hoc Committee Meeting 2/2/97 notes)
