2. Where are the Immigrants coming from? Before 1885 immigrants came mostly from Northern and Western Europe. After 1885 immigrants came mostly from Southern and Eastern parts of Europe. Countries include: Italy, Poland, Greece, Russia, Hungary, China, Japan, Korea, India, Philippines
