Integrating such nanostructures into PV cells (if respectively doped and p-n junctions formed) high energy conversion efficiency (up 70%) and full spectrum utilization could be achieved. MASKLESSThe project idea is to develop maskless nano-patterning technique for nano-structures fabrication by employing self-formation methods in nano-scale allowing to predict and control material properties in particular composition. Lasers-for- PV Proposed Project idea is targeted to development innovative design of solar cells using lasers and self-formation methods, which enable to significantly reduce Eur/Wt costs and simultaneously address Si feedstock shortage issues.
