17. New Business – Constitution Amendments The new president elect will take office at the AAVC Department Heads and Hospital Directors meeting in the Spring instead of the AAVC/ACVIM Summer meeting. The Awards will be presented to the winners’ respective Hospital Director at the Spring meeting which will then be given to the recipient at the home institution. There will be one regular meeting in the Spring and there will no longer be a second meeting unless deemed necessary by the president. (This proposal under reconsideration pending AAVC Executive Committee conference call)
