3. Overview District Training Assembly ‘Sankalp’ was held at Hotel Renaissance 13 th April, 2014 Attendance from RCTH – 24 members and one Spouse PP Dr. Suhas, PP Dr. Ashes and PP Sucheta were the training faculties at DTA Announcement of District Assembly 2015 was done and registrations are open.

4. Continuous focus on TRF and Membership TRF continues to be the focus area and target for 14 – 15 is : – US $ 5Mn – per capita US $ 250 – EREY – One major donor from each club – One lead for Arch Klumph Society member In 14 – 15, TRF is under leadership of Avenue Chair Designate PP Dr. Ashes Ganguly. Our District has taken a very challenging target of 20% growth in Membership and aim to reach District membership to 9,000 by June 2015.

5. Thrust on applying for Global & District grants During 2011 -12, Dist 3140 has made exemplary efforts in TRF collections to the tune of US $ 1,096,000. In 14 – 15, 50% this money will be coming to our District and available for spending for our Projects i.e US $ 275,000 each for Global & District grants District grants will be released on reimbursement basis

6. District Thrust Areas LEAP - Literacy, Environment, ABCDE and Poonarnirman ABCDE – ABility and Challenges of Differently abled and Elderly ACHE – Acting Continuously for Hunger Eradication – All over India Program on continuous basis Service – 14

7. Service 14 Objective is to achieve focused service which could be visibly seen by the masses Following service activities planned from 7 th September’14 – 16 th January’15 – Literacy – Youth empowerment – Safety awareness – Vocational awards – Child development – Career guidance – Blood donations – Entrepreneurship – Organ donation – Sr Citizens and disabled – Health for all – Women safety and empowerment – Krishi Vaibhav – Art, culture and heritage

11. Current scenario Current membership fees Rs. 18,000 pa General economic inflation gone up.. Fuel gone up by 11.2% and food prices were up by 8.12% YOY. Dollar to rupee rate increased by 15% We have managed Club administration so far through sponsorships from members in addition to annual dues This method, though good, results in unequal burden amongst the members..

12. What’s lying in future.. Increase in RI Dues Increase in rates by Satkar management Requirement of family nites on Farmaish.. General economic hike to continue

14. Results The total expenditure on Club Services approximates to Rs. 25 Lakhs. Considering our strength at 100, the annual contribution comes to Rs. 25,000 per member Let’s discuss and finalize… Club belongs to all of us… lets share the burden equally… Thanks
