AP ASSOCIATION CHARGE The AP Association advocates on behalf of administrative professionals in discussions with the University administration related to wages, benefits and working conditions.

Year in Review (so far) Representation on behalf of APs: Monthly meetings with Ron Watson, Assistant Vice President for University Human Relations Consulted with Administration: AP Manual – participating in dialogue and rewrite process Sibson Study – updates on process and feedback Guidelines and Policies – provide feedback and suggestions Worked towards: Minimal AP Manual changes Updating Association Bylaws More communication: new list-serv, web site information Assisted APs with questions and concerns

Association Bylaws Amendments Summary of changes Streamlining and updating language Substantive changes Updated paid dues requirement for membership and voting to include if assessed language Added officer removal procedures by 2/3 vote of Executive Committee Added Past-President to serve as Chair of Nominating Committee Added Dissolution language that requires 2/3 vote by Association Membership All APs can review and vote through the AP Association Elections, both the full document and a summary of changes will be available
