Viruses A computer virus is a malware program that when executed replicates by inserting copies of itself modified into other computer programs, data files, or the boot sector of the hard drive when this replication succeeds the affected areas are then said to be infected. A virus can course you computer to slow down.

Spyware Other common tactics are using a Trojan horse. Some spyware authors infect a system through security holes in the Web browser or in other software. When the user navigates to a Web page controlled by the spyware author, the page contains code which attacks the browser and forces the download and installation of spyware. Spybot can stop this from happining.

Malware Malware is designed to cause damage to a stand alone computer or a networked pc. So wherever a malware term is used it means a program which is designed to damage your computer it may be a virus, worm or Trojan. Ransom ware affects an infected computer in some way, and demands payment to reverse the damage. For example, programs such as files securely, and only decrypt them on payment of a substantial sum of money.

Who use these and why People use these to spy on you and to see what you do online. Key loggers can hack into my computer and app to trace and get information such as bank details, where you live and other information.

Spam Email spam, also known as unsolicited bulk Email, junk mail, or unsolicited commercial email is the practice of sending unwanted email messages, frequently with commercial content, in large quantities to an indiscriminate set of recipients. Spam can also be very annoying because it fills your inbox which means you will not be able to receive important emails.
