4. Transfer: O-2205 Photo Folders A dedicated squadron computer for downloading images is best way to insure consistency of format. Establish a set of desktop icons identifying elements in the download of images process. (ie: Nikon Photo Transfer, IrfranView or Picasa Viewers) 3

5. Transfer: O-2205 Photo Folders (2) If squadron does not have a dedicated computer for downloading images – Squadron members using personal computers need to agree on placement of desktop icons – Squadron members using personal computers need to agree on selection of image viewer programs. 4

6. Transfer: O-2205 Downloading Images Two ways to download images from camera 1. Connect USB cable from camera to computer USB port. 2. Remove media card and insert in computer – risks damage to media card (not recommended) 5

7. Transfer: O-2205 Transfer Images Plug the camera into the Aircrew PC with the USB cable & turn it on Avoid removing the media card from camera Ensure Nikon Photo Transfer Program is started (part of ViewNX 2) 6
