Richness of form = Rich representation of ideas –Text/image/graphics/audio/video/animation/simulation –Two-way conferencing, streaming, on-demand Promise of interactivity makes a compelling case –To interact with ideas, with humans, with machines Rich form and interactivity create challenges in: –Capturing, describing, and storing a complete asset –Protecting and determining authenticity –Granting and controlling access
