8 UoN IR - ESTABLISHEMENT library is in the process of establishing an IR – Initial stage Committee set up to look into logistic issues

9 Establishement (Cont.) Contents - technical papers, research articles, lnaugural lectures, conference proceedings, theses etc Customization completed Propasal to justify the need for an IR

10 Establishement (Cont.) Staffing: o IR administrator to spearhead the project o Train more staff/researchers in submission of content (Workshops and Seminars)

12 Challenges/Issues being Considered Staffing – Digitization specialist, ICT staff to monitor and upgrade system Required equipment, eg commercial scanners, s/w
