2 Purpose of This Workshop Eight Distinct Intelligences Linguistic Learner Spatial Learner Logical/Mathematical Learner Bodily/Kinesthetic Learner Musical Learner Intrapersonal Learner Interpersonal Learner Naturalistic Learner Survey

3 This is a 50-minutes workshop focuses on the 8 intelligences as theorized by Dr. Howard Gardner, author of several books Including Frames of Mind, Multiple Intelligences: The Theory in Practice, and Intelligence Reframed. This is intended to help you to recognize that people have various learning styles and identify your own styles that may better help you succeed in your education Goal: Learn about the theory of Multiple Intelligence and do a self-assessment.

4 Linguistics – Skills with words Logical-Mathematical – skills with numbers and reasoning Spatial – skills with pictures and images Bodily-Kinesthetic – physical skills Musical – skills with melody and rhythm Interpersonal – skills of social understanding Intrapersonal – skills of self-knowledge Naturalistic – skills of making connections to elements in nature
