Reading pictures is like reading real life. It involves making judgements and drawing conclusions. We do this all day long… Using pictures is research based. We think in pictures and dream in pictures too. Post language frames at the front of the room. She has this as a free download on TPT. It gets them thinking about observations and inferences. It invites conversations on the differences between predictions and inferences.
