What is S.O. : We are an competitive academic team who practices all year and competes at: Rustin Invitational (1/31) South East Regional (3/4) Neumann University STATES

Who goes to the invitational and regional competitions : All students who are members of the team in January attend the Invitational & Regional What they should bring: Wear S.O. tee shirt Bring snacks and/or money for snacks

To remain on the team the student must: Maintain an “A” in science Maintain a “B” average in all other subjects Attend S.O. practices at least twice/week Students cannot: Play a spring sport or be part of the SLMS musical – These activities interfere with our preparations for competitions

Expectations: To be successful in S.O. the student must be an INDEPENDENT learner who is self- motivated to dig deeply into there subject or event. – Resources: National S.O. site – Soinc.org S.O. Student Center – Scioly.org

We like to provide snacks for our students during practice (including gluten free snacks) – If you are interested in helping to provide snacks please sign up tonight. If you have a particular talent or expertise and would like to help train our students please sign up tonight
