Economy Currency: Nepalese Rupees Imports: petroleum products, machinery and equipment, gold, electrical goods, medicine. Exports: clothing, pulses, carpets, textiles, juice, pashima, jute goods.

Interesting Facts Fact 1: Nepal has the greatest altitude of any location on Earth. Fact 2: The Himalayas was formed 10–15 million years ago. Fact 3: The mountain known as Mount Everest was named after a British man named: George Everest in 1863.
