This modern day slide would be used as one of our examples. To make this slide earlier in history, logs and branches were most likely put together. The simple machine that this slide would portray would be an inclined plane. This seesaw during the stone age would be put together with a leveled out log and maybe a few large rocks underneath. The simple machine for this would be a lever. There is also a wedge in the middle of the seesaw. The monkey bars during the stone age would involve a wedge as a simple machine. To make the circular shape of the bars for the kids to grab ahold of, they would use a sharper wedge than normal. It would be made out of wood and maybe branches or leaves to connect everything together.

This obstacle course is a good example for combining the stone age and the many simple machines that are involved within it. Again, a wedge could be used to shape all of the different sections of this course. An inclined plane would be an uneven set of logs put together. If we included vines as a lever, we would put them together to lift people or different items to the other side of the course. For a swing in the stoneage, many wedges could be used from wood to hold it up and to create the actual seating of it. Aside from wedges being the simple machine, vines could also be used to hold everything together.
