Overview:To reduce the total number of cars at the campus Encourage employees and visitors to carpool, bike, and take public transportation. Components: Encourage walking via campus streetscape Offer reduced price monthly subway passes to employees Provide priority parking for carpools and alternative vehicles Partner with Buffalo Car Share to provide carsharing and pilot bikesharing on campus Host a bike-to-work day with free bicycle tune-ups Results: Encouraging employees and visitors to take alternative forms of transportation saves money and reduces congestion.
