Distribution package of the codec has been downloaded over 59,569 times last year, that's an average of 1,000 downloads per week. The project is the winner of joint competitive selection of projects of commercialization of scientific research results organized by Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations of Russia and Skolkovo Foundation in 2014.
