Project Connect 2 Teach Rebecca J. Speelman, Ed.D. York College of Pennsylvania Shared at the National Education Computing Conference 2009

Please join us as we embark down a path that I believe will "make the connections" to help guide our pre- service teachers to plan, instruct and assess our students as 21st century learners.

Background Philosophy I believe integration has to start with the first introduction of a lesson plan, not as an add-on feature after we learn about content and pedagogy.

Key Points to Share 1. Vision and highlights 2. Historical information 3. Implementation planning 4. Outcomes/Examples

Vision To connect pre-service teacher candidates with in-service teachers in order to bridge the gap between theory and practice when working with curriculum and technology.
