Creating a Healthy Cookbook Students will use this week to finalize their healthy cookbook. Committees will complete their portion of the cookbook and students will put all parts of the book together. Be watching for more information to come about ordering your copy of the 2 nd graders healthy cookbook!

Noise Level 1 This week your committee will be finishing their part of our cookbook and presenting it to the class for final approval. Use this station time to do your best work and complete your section of the cookbook! When your committee is finished and ready to present your portion of the cookbook to the class, use this time to work on your writing skills. 1. Choose one of the three pictures. 2. Look closely at the picture. 3. Write about what you see. Use your imagination and use creative words to make your writing interesting! 4. Make sure to include the following: your name, title, topic sentence, correct capitalization and punctuation. Noise Level 0 1.Choose a library book or a book of choice that you have not read. 2.Be sure you picked a book that you can read alone. 3.Silently read. 4.After you finish your book, write the name of the book in your Data Binder. 5.Be sure to fill in the information about your book in your binder. 6.If you can answer all the questions in your Data Binder, get your laptop and log on to AR to take your test. 7.Record your AR score in your Data Binder.
