Survey of other section websites Explored other section web sites –Northwest, New York State, New England, Ohio Region, Prairie, Southeastern, Texas, Four Corners –All sites have a few common features Governance, meetings listings – Most sites have unique features, signatures Synthesize a CA-NV www site that represents the best from other sites?

The CA-NV www site Issues & challenges –If we set up a more comprehensive www site, it will require effort to keep in current, relevant Following stale, out-of-date, non-existent links leads to frustration very quickly –Frequent updates Monthly? Quarterly? –A dedicated, committed webmaster is required Rotating role? Member of Executive Committee? –Web server? Located at APS.org? Located at the home institution of the webmaster?
