Designed primarily for the Mountain Host program with the secondary goal of providing to outside agencies such as: ◦ Companies needing to meet OSHA medical training requirements ◦ Mountain Bike Association ◦ Boy Scouts ◦ Other outdoor programs Program will consist of both online and practical/didactic components for a total of 12 hours.

Office will work with Brady to negotiate publishing and use of online capabilities. Program will be a 3 year certification. Recertification will be by taking entire program. Teaching will be handled by OEC Instructors. Affiliates will have access to the program Book will be developed by Johe/McNamara using resource material from OEC 5.

EMT and OEC-T are not the same OEC-T adequately trains responders to handle snowsports injuries. Recommend agencies having significant non snowsports medical pathology or prolonged extrication times consider adding EMT’s.
