3 Step 7: Review Public Comments and Select a Preferred Plan Alternative Step 9: Draft Plan Policy and Regulations Step 10: Review Draft Policy and Regulations Step 11: Plan for Public Events Step 13 : Prepare Revised Draft Policy and Regulations Step 12: Review Public Feedback and potential changes Public Event 2 Step 8: Present Preferred Plan Alternative to Committees of Council

4 Step 14: Review Draft Polices and Regulations (circulate documents for 30 – 40 day review) Step 15: Review Public Comments and Make Final Modifications Step 16: Present Plan and Regulations to Committee of Council Step 18 : Present Plan to Regional Council Step 17: Make any final adjustments Public Event 3 Public Hearing

5 Step 19: Send Approved Planning Documents to Minister of SNSMR Step 20: Minister Review Step 21: Notification that Planning Documents Accepted Place Notice in the Paper To Inform Public that the Plan is now in Effect

8 Community Planning Group Commitment  Regular attendance at Bi-weekly meetings  May increase to weekly meetings around public events  Review of high volume of background information and plans  Prepare communications strategy for public events and oversee public input  Attendance at Public Events  Review of Public Comments and Responsiveness to Public Feedback  Presentation of proposals to Committees of Council and Regional Council (May rely on Chair)
