THE LIBRARY OF C U T Comparative Studies on Research and Scientific Libraries Programme for Data Collection and Analysis As a base for the study were outcomes of the survey “Analysis of library operation based on selected effectiveness indicators” were used. The survey was prepared within the Tempus JEP 13242-98 (Development of Library Management as a Part of the University Total Quality Management) coordinated by the Library of CUT. Objectives: Analysis of the data and performance indicators from the libraries participating in the project; data concerned the year of the realization of the project and the preceding ones; Creation of a set of comprehensive data on scientific libraries in Poland - available for the Standardization Group; Automated computation of selected performance indicators basing on data form surveys; Multi-aspect analysis of selected data and performance indicators from all the scientific libraries (comparative study) - available for the Standardization Group.
