 There are 3 main types of muscles  Skeletal Muscles  Cardiac Muscles  Smooth Muscles

 Muscles can pull on the bones, but they can put it back to the original position.  Muscles work in pairs they are flexors and extensors  The extensor muscle stretches, also relaxes  The flexor muscle makes it to bend the joint  The flexor relaxes and the extensor

 Cardiac muscle is like all tissues in the body, the blood supply to deliver oxygen to remove waste products such as carbon dioxide.  Cardiac Muscles are only found in the heart.  Cardiac muscle is an involuntary muscle (meaning that it isn’t under our control) Heart keeps beating without us needing to think about it.

 Smooth muscles make up walls of heart  Smooth muscle is associated with the circulatory, Urinary, & Digestive System.  Smooth and cardiac muscles move automatically  Smooth muscles help hold in urine. The human face has alot of muscles.

1. All of the muscles demonstrate responsiveness. 2. All of the muscles show conductivity. 3. All of the muscles show contractability. 4. All of the muscles show extendability. 5. All muscles cells MUST have elasticity.
