2 THE EQUIVALENT SERIES RESISTANCE IS : Req = R 1 + R 2 + R 3 THE CURRENT OF THE CIRCUIT IS : I = U / (R 1 + R 2 + R 3 ) THE EQUIVALENT SERIES RESISTANCE IS : Req = R 1 + R 2 + R 3 THE CURRENT OF THE CIRCUIT IS : I = U / (R 1 + R 2 + R 3 )

3 T SERIES RESISTOR CIRCUIT When we connect resistors in a series circuit the current which flows through each one of them its of the same value I. We can find the equivalent resistance if we add the values of all resistors of the circuit. That means that the equivalent resistance is of greater value than the rest of them separately.

4 SERIES RESISTOR CIRCUIT we can find the source voltage: E = U1 + U2 + U3. The source voltage is divided in as many parts as the number of the resistors in the circuit. We measure the greater part of the voltage on the resistor with the greater value.
