Targeted donor: Government of the Kingdom of Norway Project period December 2007 / 2008; Overall project Budget € 800.000,00; Donor funding € 400.000,00 The overall objective is to support the private sector development, job creation, and export expansion by supporting cluster linkages among enterprises, R&D Institutions and business associations.

ActivitiesExpected Project Outputs Coo financing for Cluster ActivitiesA network of clusters established, Increased joint projects and linkages between cluster participants (8 operating clusters; 120 companies; min. 3 joint activities between companies +R&D; cluster project boards and action teams); Promotion activitiesEstablishment of the National Council for cluster development; newsletters; case studies; success stories; promotion of cluster concept, promotion of the Project:; InternationalizationEnterprise internationalization enhanced (Participation in min. one international CI project; participation in the work meetings of one European cluster network; min. 50 comp. participating in international fairs and forums, matchmaking); Educational activitiesUnderstanding of the potential economic and commercial benefits from clustering raised across the country; Coaching, Monitoring and EvaluationInstitutional capabilities increased; project for 2009 prepared.
