4. Integrating quotes: Remember that you can’t just “quote and run.” You need to explain the significance of the quote and contextualize it within your argument. 5. Paraphrasing Paraphrasing is when an individual takes the words of someone else (in an EBSCO article for example) and puts the idea into their own words. Because the idea is not originally their thoughts they must still give credit where credit is due.
