2 Concussion - a traumatic brain injury that is caused by a blow to the head or body, that shakes the brain inside the skull. Since it is an injury a concussion can not be be transmitted or inherited, only received.

3 Concussions can occur anytime, anywhere, and to anyone. Athletes and physical laborers are more prone to concussions, because they are putting themselves in an environment with a higher chance of a head injury.

4 Concussions have a direct impact on the brain and may produce cerebral bruising, unconsciousness, bleeding in or around the brains have a direct impact on the brain.
