Title: Sherlock Holmes What is your book’s genre? Write it here: Mystery What is it? The first case he is solving is about him trying to find clues to solve a death/ murder that had happened. Example: The Stalker By: K.E. Calder Example: The Ruby in the Smoke By: Philip Pullman Example: Black Hearts in Battersea By: Joan Aiken Attribute : The novel is a mystery because that main character, Sherlock Holmes, must solve the case, or terrible things will happen. Attribute: The setting makes this book a Mystery. Attribute: Because the main character is working to find clues to prove that someone he knows that he has been trying to catch murdered this person.

EVALUATION: Is Sherlock Holmes a good example of mystery? Yes Sherlock Holmes is a good example of mystery because in the book someone has murdered someone and it is mysteries because he has to find close to figure out who killed this person. Another rezone is that he can find close and then look back at the seen and see what might have happened to the person. But sometimes at a seen he finds another persons finger print which means that someone was helping or plotting for this death to happen.
