28 Dana by AlphaSmart is a portable keyboard that also has other functions such as a calculator, address book, and notepad. The functions are easy to use and the keyboard is very durable so this could be useful for students in the younger grade levels and it’s cheaper than a computer with almost all the same capabilities.

29 This interactive story is a great way to introduce your classroom to assistive devices for students with physical disabilities. By click on the pictures you receive a basic description of what the device is as well as what it is used for.

30 This software is very similar to StoryTown except that it is geared towards younger children and to create a story the students must create their own pictures in the program. This would be especially helpful for young students with learning disabilities or students who have not mastered their fine motor skills.

31 This program allows students to create their own interactive story using the computer. The words that they write are then spoken out loud and even the pictures can be animated to show the characters movement. This would be especially useful for students with learning disabilities, especially dyslexia.
