2 Current Process – Key Components The current client hierarchy has Time Warner as the client with products representing General, Hispanic, Insight & Intelligent Home Jobs are created based on regions/states ( i.e Texas, California, Mid-West)

3 Proposed Future Process – Key Components Create Client, Division, Product hierarchy (CDP) where client is Time Warner, divisions are General and Hispanic Create multiple products representing states or regions (i.e Texas, California, Mid-West) Create a Master Affiliate job for each division, where an affiliate job is created for each product code Create Master Estimate Bill job where one invoice is generated for each Master Affiliate scenario

4 Proposed Future Process – Key Components Vantage Term Agency Term Definition Master DocumentA document that is created in SAP to link a Master Job with all the affiliate/activity jobs. Affiliate JobSub job linked to a master job; used when a number of individual jobs relate to the same work/campaign/project and need to be billed together. The billing will print by Master Job, Affiliate Job 1, Affiliate Job 2, etc. on one invoice. Demonstrate the Master Affiliate job for these types of contracts

6 Master/Affiliate/Activity Based Job – Master Job The Master Job Structure consists of a main job (Master Job) linked to sub-jobs Sub-jobs can be either of the following types: Affiliate Activity-based Master job that has linked Affiliate or Activity-based jobs Can have a single segment structure with only one office and one line of business Can have a multi-segment structure with more than one office and more than one line of business SAP uses the Master job with an Affiliate or Activity-based job to allow grouping of jobs for billing This structure can be used when an agency needs to break work into several manageable sections

7 Master/Affiliate/Activity-based Job – Master Job Create Master Jobs selecting Individual jobs relate to the same work/campaign/project and need to be billed together The process for opening Master and Affiliate or Activity-based jobs is similar to Standard jobs A Master Document is created in the system to link the jobs together, which is then used to bill the entire structure as one job Set the Job Indicator field to Master Job The Job Indicator field is used to identify the type of job being opened and defaults to Standard Job Exercise 5: Create Master Job Work In Progress

8 Master/Affiliate/Activity-based Jobs – Master Document A Master Document must be created to link the Master Job and its Affiliate jobs and/or Activity-based jobs for billing purposes The Master Document Master document is created in the background by the system while a Master Job is being created and prior to the creation of Affiliate or Activity based Jobs Links all jobs by accumulating all the WBS Elements/Job Segments from the entire Master-Affiliate/Activity-based Job Structure Used for billing purposes - allows all the WBS Elements of all Affiliate/Activity- based jobs to be billed together with the Master Job Can be used as a selection on reports to see details for all Affiliate/Activity-based jobs

9 Master/Affiliate/Activity Jobs – Affiliate/Activity-Based Jobs Create Affiliate and Activity-based jobs by selecting? When creating an Affiliate or Activity-based job, the steps you follow are the same as when you are creating a Standard Billable Job and a Multi-segment Job with the following additions: Set the Job Indicator field to Affiliated or Activity-based Reference the Master Job number The system automatically updates the Master Document with the newly created Affiliate or Activity-based job Exercise 6: Create Affiliate Job
