( i.e. work on behavioural improvement, ergonomics, training etc) Many process companies have demonstrated high standards of performance in this area. —Process companies are amongst world leaders in safety performance.

9 Control of Major Hazards Regulations and the authorities can have an impact in improving performance. e.g Seveso II However greatest improvement will & must be through the action of those in direct control of the process.
