3.  Encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, as well as to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.

4.  As one large group or split in to small groups  Name, class year, major, and what you hope to get out of your experience with ALD and college.

5.  All students that join Alpha Lambda Delta, through invitation, are lifetime members of Alpha Lambda Delta. However, active membership qualifies members for scholarships and to hold leadership roles within the local chapter.

6.  Complete 3 community service hours (provided by ALD)  Attend 2 ALD general body meetings  Attend 1 Event (informed about by ALD) (Active membership status is reviewed each semester.)

9.  For any events you attend, you must: email ALD (ald.uark@gmail.com) informing of what you attended. Also, submit proof (i.e. contact information for someone who can verify your attendance and/or a picture of you there, a ticket stub, or something that would prove you attended.)
