All rights reserved. 4 4 The HS Circumplex... §Provides a way to “see” what drives performance—that of individual contributors, leaders, work teams—in short, the entire organization §Breaks the factors underlying performance down into 12 ways or “styles” of thinking, behaving, and interacting §Reveals that some styles are effective and productive; some are not Whether effective or not, all styles describe what’s happening inside the organization and provide a direction for change and development

HS Circumplex-based tools measure the factors that drive performance at multiple levels throughout organizations §Begin measurement at any level within the system and move between levels to address what’s needed §Assess multiple levels simultaneously or sequentially §Provide a common language and framework for feedback, analysis and change initiation Linked together by the Circumplex, these assessments provide a structured system for taking a close look at an organization to decide what’s working, what’s not, and how to fix it
