3 There are 66 books in the Bible including the Old and New Testament and excluding the apocryphal books.

4 The Old Testament: 39 books covering three Dispensations.

5 It begins with the creation of the heavens and the earth and ends with the nation of Israel in about 425 B.C., and includes end times prophecies.
