What is eLanguages? 5 key points. Teachers can… 1. Create their own project page 2. Upload their own classroom resources 3. Share with a partner school 4. Communicate via forums 5. Register and use for free 2

Why today? 1. We have given Connecting Classrooms Latin America its own dedicated project space on eLanguages 2. Each partnership has been given its own individual page for sharing work together 3. Each teacher has been given their own login and can upload and edit easily

The benefits 1. Share news stories and updates 2. Share ideas and best practise 3. Build a lively online community 4. Create a relevant & re-usable portfolio of work online 5. BC staff support & help guides 6. No special IT skills needed

Finally. Also worth knowing… Security – all pages private to members only Teachers get logins – students dont Forums can be used, but no VC available Example: International Inspirations

What happens now…? Logins will be sent to all lead teachers by e-mail within the next two weeks Included will be full instructions on what to do, where to go, how to use eLanguages
