E-publishing of Latvian Legislation Today likumi.lv = e-version of official (paper) publication Maintained by government enterprise Latvijas Vēstnesis (LV) Publishes consolidated legislative acts and historic and future versions of consolidated acts Current version of LP “on top“ Free of charge

History of Legislative E-publishing before Crisis nais.lv, privately owned database 1st version built in 1991 Publishings obtained in electronic (Word ) form directly from Legislative institutions Pay for subscription or per document No other options Quite expensive to cover all public sector needs (1000+ institutions)
