STARTING WITH BREAD The students of the Primary school have worked on intensive organic agriculture. They visited the local farm called “THE PINE” that produces organic food and the local bakery, they could see different types of cereals.

The wheat is sewn in autumn and by summer the plant has completed its cycle: the EAR of wheat is now full of grains of wheat

Let’s take the grains off the ears of wheat

The grains have to be transformed into flour by milling. We will use a hand mill.

Flour, salt, water, yeast and our dough is ready

Once risen, the balls of dough are baked in the oven for about 40 minutes
