Current Ph.D. projects Continue isolation of lymphocytes and analysis of repair capacities in twin samples Initiate isolation of lymphocytes and analysis of mitochondrial functions in samples from fatigue and non- fatigue individuals Confirm preliminary data on nuclear and mitochondrial carbonylation in premature aging syndromes Continue study on regulation of synaptic mitochondrial DNA repair activity Establish methods suitable for telomere length measurement in twin and other cohort samples Initiate telomere length measurements in samples from twins and extreme social class individuals
